Job dashboard

The Job Dashboard is where all the jobs that you have created or have been invited to are displayed. Jobs can be viewed in a grid or list view.

The information shown includes when jobs were created, if published or not, and the number of applicants by status. Toggle the switch in the header to show only the jobs that are published.

Adding a new job

Click the New Job button at the top of the screen to create your first job. All the information required is added to one screen.

Firstly, add the Job title. Try and stick to industry language as this helps your job get discovered by job seekers.

The Job location defaults from your settings but it can be changed here if you’re hiring for another office.

Type or copy in your Job description. Click the ‘Use SEO Headings’ button to load headings that will auto-generate at the time of publishing to help your job rank higher in the search engines. There is also a link to our guide with tips for writing an engaging job description and formatting options for the text.

Click Add Video to add a video job description. We recommend adding a video as it will increase your social media exposure, candidate engagement, and application flow.

You can link to a video hosted on Youtube or Vimeo, choose one from your Video Library, and record or upload one. We support MP4, MOV and WEBM files up to 600MB.

Note that for videos hosted on Vimeo you can hide icons such as the play bar, share icon, and video title, by amending the embed settings in Vimeo.

Select the Employment type (full-time, part-time, contract, intern etc.) and Working style (office-based, hybrid, remote, on-location).

Then add your Salary or wage, entering a single amount or a range. Choose the currency and set the Time unit for the salary or wage (e.g. hourly, weekly, monthly, annually).

Job options

To re-direct applicants to your own application page, toggle the switch and type in the URL of the job page you want to instantly route applicants to.

When managing applicants in C-Me, choose whether or not candidates should record a video interview as part of their application. If yes, then you can also add a question for applicants to answer.

That’s it. Hit ‘Save’ and your job is created!

Note - You can edit the job from within the 3-dot menu and also delete it completely if created in error - this is marked in red because it removes the job and any associated applicants from the system completely.

Publishing & Sharing your job

Access these functions in the Grid view by clicking the icons on the face of the job card or via the 3-dot menu in the top right corner. In the List view use the 3-dot menu.

Preview & Publish

Click the Preview icon to see how your job will look when published. It opens in a new browser window and might take a few seconds to load the first time. If you make changes to the job then you can just refresh the browser to display the changes. Click the ‘close preview’ button in the top left corner to close the browser window.

Use the Publish toggle switch to set the job live. It will be indexed with Google and should appear in GoogleJobs within 24 hours.

Share & Track

Once published, click the Share icon to share the job directly on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. You can also send a link by email or copy a live URL link for sharing on other social media platforms such as Instagram, Tiktok and Youtube.

Note - the live job post takes a few seconds to load the first time it is displayed. Thereafter, it loads quickly for all viewers.

Click the Track icon at any time to get real-time data on candidate engagement including the number of candidates that have opened the job, watched the video, the candidate engagement rate and average viewing times.

Team settings

To add colleagues to the hiring process (e.g. Hiring Managers, Interviewers etc) select ‘Team settings’, enter their email and click ‘+ Add’.

The job will then appear in their job dashboard (they will be invited to C-Me if they’re not already a user).

Note - new team members are given Viewer access. Contact the Administrator if they need to be made into a Job Manager so they can also manage jobs and applicants.
